What if we told you that there are no limitations to creating the life of your dreams? What if you can change your life with only 6-simple-steps every morning? Do you dare to try? This is the question posed by Hal Elrod, the author of "The Miracle Morning." This week, we are digging into the strategies needed to create your dream life and business. It all starts when the alarm sounds.

The truth is, you are the only person responsible for improving your life. We have been keenly aware of this fact, which is why our team is constantly reading and hungry to learn. A few weeks ago, we were discussing one amazing article that popped into our feed about the power of meditation. It sparked a discussion about all the things we know we should be doing, but just don't do...

Although the Miracle Morning is a few years old now, the main thesis is unbelievably relevant: how do you make sure to set aside time to do all the things that will really improve your life? The answer: dedicate at least 60 minutes each morning to working on yourself. Sounds simple enough.

Hal Elrod show us that...

"By having a morning routine, every aspect of your life, business, and relationships change because, in addition to creating discipline and commitment in your life, you develop perseverance-- and that, my dear #UgliBoss, is the key to success." - Click to tweet

Hal shows us that by making time to practice the essential 6 “SAVERS,” you will see almost immediate results.

  • Silence (meditation)

  • Affirmations

  • Visualizations

  • Exercise

  • Reading

  • Scribing (writing)

He suggests dedicating 10 minutes to each action and setting aside 1 hour per day for personal growth. If you don’t have that much time or are too scared to carve it out, he says that even 1 minute of each could do the trick. The power is in commitment and discipline.

The main idea of having a morning routine is to leave the past in the past and BE PRESENT. You create your reality-- and that’s empowering. You need to become the person you need to be to accomplish everything you want in life. But how do you do that? The idea is that if you don’t set time aside for self-improvement you will not be able to grow by the leaps and bounds necessary to live your best life...

Stop being bogged down with your to-do list and making excuses as to why you are not living to your potential. Miracle Morning talks a lot about the 95%, saying that the vast majority of people are living well below their potential. He repeatedly makes the call to his reader to stop being mediocre and starting living your “level 10” life. This is done by dedicating time each day to becoming the person you want to be.

So, how can a morning routine help change your life? We know first hand since both of us have implemented this practice into our own lives. We have both gained a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in our lives. Which has helped spark an increase in productivity with less stress.

Hal also shares that by implementing the Miracle Morning you wake up with more energy, overcome daily challenges, lose weight if desired, and feel generally excited and empowered to fulfill your goals. We agree.

If you’re convinced and want to get started, there are tons of free supporting material to help you on your way at the Miracle Morning website. There Hal has a fun 30-day challenge in addition to tons of other free downloads.
